WALLS 360 now featured on Fab.

Kids love to decorate. But you don’t always want them to (unless you like ketchup and markers on your walls). WALLS 360 makes everyone happy with removable, re-usable walls graphics in the shape of PaddleDuck Learning’s adorable characters. Junior can plaster them wherever he wants, without creating a sticky situation.

The New Gambit, Priority One: get a huge logo on the wall.
Fun fact: TNG’s logo was designed by Yiying Lu, creator of the Twitter Fail Whale (and now Creative Director of Walls360).
Pictured here admiring the logo, and very probably wondering what he’s got himself into, is NSFW Corp. backer Tony Hsieh.
Magic comes to Walls360!
Here comes the Walls360 ”HELLO WORLD!”
More inside story of the birth of Walls360 very own Magician soon!
HELLO WORLD!
WALLS 360 on TUMBLR: Walls360.Tumblr.com
Couple days ago of this time last year, I recieved an email from a friend of mine Scott Beale a.k.a ”primary tentacle” and founder of Laughing Squid - one of my favorite art, culture & technology blog - said the 16th of Nov 2010, would the 15th birthday of Laughing Squid!
So I decided to work on a piece of art, dedicated to Laughing Squid.
And here it was!
Now I’m looking at my iCal:
Holy Moly! Today is Nov 16th again, only difference is it’s 2011!
Instead of creating a difference piece of art this year - i simply wanted to share the sketch of last year’s artwork - this black & white pencil sketch:

A lot of times, we care too much of the end result and forget to take time to enjoy the process. Even it’s unfinished, rough and unrefined…
Plus, it would be funny to say: “Hey Scott, last year I did a piece of artwork for Laughing Squid, but this year all I have is this lousy sketch!” ;-)
Last Dec and this Feb, this piece of artwork has been exhibited in both San Francisco Hotel des Arts: WALLS 360 ART For Everywhere and New York Gallery Bar: Yiying Lu x WALLS 360 Shorty Art Show; which coincidentally reflected the 2 main tentacles in the art work SF + NY!
A year passes by, I decided to dig out this old sketch and past art show photos as a birthday present for Laughing Squid; and to share with you all…
… as well as this quick thought: Art is an experience…
a spark of a thought, a history of creating, a process of making, a piece of memories, a second of resonance,a story…
I was joking to Scott Beale, “Since Laughing squid is born on the Nov 16th, you should have named it Laughing Scorpion!”
I open up the window, there is the seashell castle.
sound of the ocean.
sigh of sea.
Thanks Laughing Squid:

Perhaps it’s time to Tumblr again! ;-)
